Science in Action
Pick and Hammer representatives manned a booth at the Sam Noble History Museum in Norman, OK. They educated the public on the rock cycle and rock identification, answered questions, and helped identify any items the public brought in.

Student Mineral Auction September 28th
Pick and Hammer is hosting a mineral auction.If you haven't seen the minerals yet we posted pictures of all our silent auction minerals on our facebook page so go check them out!! If those don't interest you then come check out our Buy It Now table where you can buy a number of things immediately without the competition of bidding! We have lots of cool things to offer!

Float Trip At the Eagle Bluff Resort
Pick and Hammer took a trip to the Eagle Bluff Resort in Oklahoma on 24th September. The trip took five hours of floating along the river.

Alumni Auction
The auction and banquet took place at the Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City. Volunteers sat at the mineral tables answering any questions potential bidders had about them while getting to socialize with Alumni.

Student Mineral Auction December 7th
The Pick and Hammer Club will be having a student auction on Wednesday December 7th, 2016 from 11-3pm, in P340 on the 3rd floor (Plaza Level) of Sarkey's Energy Center. There will be a silent auction (minerals pictured) as well as a buy it now table with constantly changing specimens! Proceeds will benefit the club and help pay for trips and events.

Movie Night
Pick and Hammer hosted its first Movie Night there was snacks and Halloween movie!!

Game Night
Bring friends, bring your favorite game and come have fun. the event will start at 6:30 and go until about 9:30 we're hoping to get room P111 for that again but we'll keep you posted! For this we'll probably just order some pizzas.

Bowling at Heyday Friday, February 3rd from 6-9! We paid for bowling, pizza, and drinks. We had such a wonderful night!

Tucson Mineral Show
Officers and potential officers went to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show to procure minerals for the Alumni Auction. They were able to get donations and make valuable contacts for future years.

Big Event
We volunteered at the Council for Developmental Disabilities. We raked leaves and cleaned inside the building.

FC Energy Soccer Game
FC Energy soccer game on April 8th at 7pm. WE also did do penalty kicks in the goal.
