Mt. Wheeler - New Mexico
Over Labor Day Weekend, students brought their own gear and enjoyed some spectacular scenery while hiking at Wheeler Peak.
Great Salt Plains Trip
We went to the Great Salt Plains in northern Oklahoma. The attendees were be able to dig for selenite crystals while at the park.

Disc Golf Tournament
The event took place at Griffin Park on Saturday, September 28th. The event was funded by Marathon Oil and local sponsors. Open to anyone associated with the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy and their families.

Tucson Gem and Mineral Show
Officers and potential officers went to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show to procure minerals for the Alumni Auction. They were able to get donations and make valuable contacts for future years.
Alumni Auction
The auction and banquet took place at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Norman.Volunteers sat at the mineral tables answering any questions potential bidders had about them while getting to socialize with Alumni.
