Pick and Hammer Last Meeting// April 27th
Pick and Hammer last meeting will be on Thursday at 5pm in SEC M220. We will be discussing events planned for the coming semester.Since this is our last meeting of the year that means we will also be having officer elections for next year. Remember: if you are running for an office you MUST be at the meeting in order to run. We will be going over a few final remarks before the semester ends as well. After the meeting we will be heading over to New York Pizza on campus corner for dinner., we're buying! You must attend the meeting in order to get pizza!

Salt Plains Trip// April 22nd​

FC Energy Soccer Game// April 8th
We're going to the FC Energy soccer game this Saturday April 8th at 7pm and we still have tickets available!

Alumni Auction// April 7th
The auction took place at Lloyd Noble. Volunteers sat at the mineral tables answering any questions potential bidders had about them while getting to socialize with Alumni.

This is our last Science Olympiad event for the year. It's located in OKC. We will leave Sarkeys at 7:30 and get back around 4. It's this Saturday, so let us know if you can make it.

Gloss Mountain - Oklahoma// March 4th
Pick and Hammer took a trip to Glass Mountain in Northeastern Oklahoma on Saturday, the 4th, to hike and collect selenite crystals.

Tucson Mineral Show// February 10-13th ​
Officers and potential officers went to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show to procure minerals for the Alumni Auction. They were able to get donations and make valuable contacts for future years.

Bowling at HeyDay!// February 3r ​
Bowling at Heyday Friday, February 3rd from 6-9! We paid for bowling, pizza, and drinks. We had such a wonderful night!

Student Mineral Action // December 7th
Pick and Hammer mineral auction is from 11am-3pm in room P340 on the Plaza Level. There will be several different specimens up for silent auction as well as an extensive "Buy it now" table featuring some specimens that you can purchase immediately.

Boy Scout Merit// November 5th
if you are interested in helping out with this please contact Gabby!! We are still looking for volunteers!There’ll be a small environmental Science portion and the main part will be earning their geology badge. There will be two sections from 8-10 am and 10-12pm. The event is at the Physical Science Center room 222 and 223. We are looking for at least two volunteers for each section. Game Night// November 18th
Bring friends, bring your favorite game and come have fun. the event will start at 6:30 and go until about 9:30 we're hoping to get room P111 for that again but we'll keep you posted! For this we'll probably just order some pizzas.

T-shirt Designs// November 14th
Here are the t-shirt designs that were submitted, there are only two so if anyone has a last minute design they would like to submit we will throw it in today. We've labeled the attached designs 1 and 2 so you can easily vote for them in the doodle poll. Please vote! We want to make sure we order a t-shirt that everyone will like! Movie Night // October 14
Pick and Hammer is hosting its first Movie Night on October 14th from 6pm-9pm. We will be meeting in room 340 on the Plaza level. There will be food and the awesome movie of your choice.

Float Trip At the Eagle Bluff Resort// September 24th
Pick and Hammer took a trip to the Eagle Bluff Resort in Oklahoma on 24th September. The trip took five hours of floating along the river.

Science in Action​// September 11th
Pick and Hammer representatives manned a booth at the Sam Noble History Museum in Norman, OK. They educated the public on the rock cycle and rock identification, answered questions, and helped identify any items the public brought in.​
